Sapporo is famous for it’s Ramen. Ramen all over Japan is great, but this variety is a bit richer and almost creamier. And insanely good.
Ramen is so important to Sapporo, there is an area listed on all the maps I checked… “Ramey Alley”. This is not to be confused with “New Ramen Alley”, or the copy of Ramen Alley on the top floor of department store next to the train station (remember, this is Japan, that’s where their best stuff goes… alleys, train stations, and department stores. Put ’em all together, it has to be insane).
And I picked a place because it had the most people in it. Of course, turns out they were all Korean. Foiled!
